Description: The Communication Support Service works with stroke survivors who are living with the effects of communication difficulties, to create opportunities to develop communication strategies, help rebuild confidence and get back to life after stroke. The service offers support in a group setting or on a one to one from our service cooordinator and trained volunteers as well as the opportunity to practice communication and gain confidence in dealing with everyday situation. They also offer information, advice and emotional support, assistance with accessing local leisure and social activities and signposting to other organisations that could help.

Times: In blocks of 8 weeks on and 4 weeks off – Wednesdays 11.30am – 1.30pm
